do leopard geckos have a certain time of the year when they breed or can they be bred anytime. For example will they only breed in the spring time?

They usually breed between January and September, but you can reverse the breeding schedule. (Have your leos breed from September to around May). Don't breed your leos all year round, though, because it would probably exhaust them too much. Ok?

You could introduce a mating pair in April instead of January? Just curious as to how late you can breed in the Jan-Sept breeding season.

Thanks
Red

you have cooled down their tanks and you introduce them while the tanks are cooled.

Cool stuff I wanted to breed but i don't have a scale and wasn't confident that my girls were large enough. Now however, three of my girls have really beefed up and i'm going to pick up a scale. From visual comparison, they are the same size (actually Zoe and Dot are a bit larger) as the girls i picked up that were bred this year.

If it turns out that i CAN breed them than it would be cool to do it, i was just thinking it was to late for this year. The only one i'm interested in breeding is Zoe as i want to get two more males and pair up my girls according to morph.

Thanks for the info
