I actually inadvertently trained my beardies to poo outside of their tanks. THe only thing we can figure is we took them off playsand when they got coccidia and put them on paper towels. When they were better, we switched them back to play sand. Now, they will ONLY poo when outside of their tanks. Even leaving paper towel in there on top of the sand, they do not poo in them. It makes keeping their tanks clean REALLY easy!

poo on grass/yard. That was great until winter came and he would not got for two weeks and there was snow on the ground.

Solution: she buys a sod section and leaves it on the floor, he runs to it when he has to go and NEVER goes anywhere else!

It is great he used it, now you don't have to follow them around and lift their tails sticking the paper towel under 'em!
