Male does not seem interested.

wingert Apr 04, 2004 07:09 PM

I just put together a group of 1.5 My females are 40 - 80g and a few are proven. My male is 58g. and 8 months old. I am keeping them in individualy in a rack system for selective genetic purposes. I have introduced the two largest and proven females to the male for a number of days and he shows no interest. I have checked on them many times thoughout the night and if anything the female will be on top and he will be sleeping. Is he to young possibly ( 8 mo.)? Anything I can do to help stimulate him. Maybe Viagra or manual stimulation? lol.

Hi

Maybe, try not to check on them so much at night, and leave the females in with him for a week or so.

After all, I know I wouldn't be very likely to do ANYthing with my b/f if I had someone constantly checking up on me.

Just breathe and get a baby monitor so you can listen for tapping without actually being there & bothering them...!
