I was wondering if i could use dry cat or dog food to feed my meal worms. Puppy or kitten food i guess. Is this a good idea or should i just use, Oatmeal, baby cereal and fish flakes? Thanks

If you have the "dust" from the bottoms of the bag it works great.

I usually have dog kibble in with mine all the time. I top it off with stale cereals and oatmeal. So far they seem to be fine with it.

Haven't we warned you about tampering with the structure of a chaotic system?

The only thing I would recommend is using a high quality all natural dog or cat food. The dyes and other additives in lower quality non-natural foods may affect the reptiles in unexpected ways. That said, I know many people who use powdered high end all natural dog food and orange slices to gutload their prey items.
