I keep Leopard and Crested Geckos and would like to breed them, but I have no idea where or how to sell my babies. Money is not an issue, I would give them away to a good home. So where can a small breeder unload a dozen or so babies?

But you can not sell on this or any of the other forums, or chats, that are for discussing the husbantry of the lizards.

I am sort of in the market for one - five. how long until you can produce. I am in no rush to get one. I am still researching.

No need to worry, I have none to sell at the moment, but I will make sure to keep all transactions off the message board.

I am not going to have any babies soon. My lizards are still juveniles themselves. I am just interested in seeing if there is even a large enough market for me to sell any babies I would breed and if so, where to find that market. My fear is just that I will have lots of baby geckos and nowhere to sell them and no one to sell them to.

My question is more WHERE and HOW would I go about selling my babies? It seems like the marketplace on this and/or other internet sites would be a good place to start. Is there anywhere else that small breeders gerneally sell lizards?

a really good place to sell is at a herp show! i am going to one this weekend in manchester, new hampshire. i can't wait. i am going to look for a good deal on frozen pinky mice.

it is also good if you are just a small time breeder (like i am) to get in with someone else who breeds, so you can split a table. i was lucky to make a friend in my area who is interested in sharing with me at the october show in manchester. hopefully i'll have some babies by then!

another thing you can do is just get a website and advertise! people will find you...

also, i almost always check the bulletin boards at my local pet stores when i am there for something. if you want to just sell local, you could post an ad there...
