Hi Brandon

When you helped it with the shed on it's nose, and pulled it off, is that why you are saying that his nose could be red, because it might be a little raw?.

Hi

Is it the color of shed?.

If you honestly think that it is shed, then get a bowl of warm water and use you finger and get it wet, then put it on the part that you think there is still shed and keep doing it to moisten it really good. When moistening it, rub it gentle in a downward motion and see if more skin comes off.

Hi

Since it sounds like it is raw, just leave it alone and it will heal up on it's own. You can't put any kind of medicine on it, because it is in a place where your gecko could lick it.

Don't worry about, and again, just let it heal on it's own.
