Yes please ignore the sand post.
Mine is in a margerine container with a hole cut on the side, most ppl cut a hole on the top, doesn't matter. I leave paper towel in there moistened daily and changed when i'm not being lazy.
IF you're looking for a more natural looking cage tile/slate is best. You can get linoleum too apparently. But whatever you get make sure it is rough and gritty so the geckos don't slide around.
Good luck
Hi
What I do in my tank is to lay newspapers on the bottom of the tank first and then papertowels ontop of that, and it is very easy to clean.
For a humid hide, you can use a coolwhip bowl and turn it upside down so the lid is at the bottom, then cut a hole in it without cutting the rim of the lid. The whole should be big enough for your gecko to easily get in and out of, but not so big that most of the humidity gets out.
For inside the humid hide, I use a papertowel and keep it misted, not wet, but moist. Some people use vermiculite, moss.
You will need to keep the humid hide on the basking side of the tank.
