Dumeril's appearance...need opinions...

Ok. I have an '02 Dumeril's Boa, and I noticed something strange on the underside of its jaw. There's a patch of about 20 scales (roughly 1/3 of the underside of the jaw) and about 5 scattered around the patch that are that clearish-grey color like the color of would-be-black coloration on albino snakes. The rest of the scales on the underside are typical cream colored. Any idea about this patch? Is it normal, some kind of morph, etc? Any opinions or further questions are more than welcome. Thanks.
