She laid an egg....but

windyj420 Apr 05, 2004 12:24 PM

My fiance and I just aquired some sort of gecko from a friend that didnt know how to take care of them. We havent had her very long, and I dont know how she was kept before. I woke up Saturday morning and there was a collapsed egg just laying on the top of the sand. My question is can she lay without being fertile, maybe stress? And if she is fertile, will she lay again and when? I put her a lay box in there like I have in my leos....I am hoping if she does it again she will do it in there. I have been giving her a double dose of food to give her a boost. That was just weird, we didnt even know she was a she much less expecting. Any help would be great. Thanks

HI

Can you take a picture of her and post it, so we can try and help you as to what kind of gecko she is?.

Also, you could got to the classifieds section here on kingsnake and click into the regular "gecko" one and look at all the pictures they post with there ads to try and find out what kind she is.

Take Care, TLB
