Hova-bator question?

wingert Apr 05, 2004 01:19 PM

I am finding by moving the thermomitor provided with the incubator to various areas that there is a great degree of variance in readings. Where is the best placement for average temps? Also is it worth getting a digital therm. or is the one provided accurate? Another topic: Does anyone know anything of small crystals forming on the skin of geckos?

Buy a digital thermometer. It gives better temperature readings than the one that comes with the hovabator.

you defenatly need to get a digital thermometer, you should have a couple laying around anyways, those are a must have for keeping any reptiles, that or a heat gun..

I have a Pro exotics Temp Gun but they have a four degree window so I don't want to rely on it.
