well, i'm doing okay with the lizards. they are getting really fat. i went to a different store this time. the place was crappy. he got the crickets for me, and not only did the guy let like 10 just like jump out of the bag, he gave me like 300. i asked for 50. stupid kid-worker, but it only goes to my benefit so i don't mind. i have something unfortunate too. the people at the fish forum haven't replied to my questions, it has only been about a day and a half, wow, you would think they would actually answer some questions. wow, there's just no good people like collared forum people, LOL. it just really makes me mad that they haven't answered my questions. maybe there is no-one who can answer your Q's?It gets like that alot on the monitor forums, alot of Q's unanswered, simply because the peeps dont know the answer or dont understand the Q.Congrats on beefing up the collareds and scoring with the crickets!I'm sure i read somewhere that it was discus you had,my uncle used to keep and breed them and from what i undestand they need certain PH levels and the nitrate's and nitrites must be virtually nil,if that makes sense to you? Also my uncle had to do Quarter water changes once a week, which had to be collected outside then left to stand for a week,so that the nitrates settled.Sorry to hear about your dad,i never spoke with him but he seemed to be a caring person,im sure eve and the others will be able to help out in anyway they can.
good luck

For the discus you can try, info and you can contact them, problem is they can't contact you back, if you have no email !

Thats why I keep harping on you to get one, hehehehe
People are going to have a tough time, trying to help, when they have no where to send messages.

Good Job with the lizards !

The discus fish are very water sensitive, meaning there water must be just right, you will have to learn how to keep it by reading those sites, or you will lose them all.

I have cichlids, and have had a fish in the discus family, and if the water was not perfect, he always got a fungus, I would treat him, and adjust water and he would be fine!

Can't go into all that here though, so keep reading about them.

Good luck !
