Amaretta Final report....

Heather Apr 05, 2004 03:44 PM

She's home. The vet took x-rays, blood work, and tested her fecal again. On the x-rays (which he showed to me) Her chest was perfectly black except for one white line which broke into a fork. She has bronchitis. He should have the blood work results tomorrow to see how bad an infection she has.... But She's still alive and is now on Baytril twice a day. So, We'll see what happens.... Thanks for the support everyone. Ama is a strong fighter. She's my little hissy face wench and I love her dearly. She's non replacable. Please keep those prayers coming for her. She's still weak and doesn't have a lot of energy at the moment. Hasn't eatten at all today... Keep your fingers crossed and the prayers coming. She needs all the help She can get...

Just make sure to keep her as comfortable as possible and at the warm end of her tank. I would even raise her temps if you haven't already. You've probably already heard this from the vet. Good luck and we'll be thinking of you.
