No, for a lot of reasons. 1, It is about 1/5 the size that a bassie needs. 2, It is impossible to maintain proper heat and humidity in a screen tank, or at least very difficult. 3, large lizards liek bassies can tear the mesh, and may escape. I have a reptarium that I use to bring my critters outside when the weather is nice, but it isn't a permenant cage.
