mealworms

I've been feeding my 5 month old male veiled chameleon a diet of calcium coated crickets, mealworms, and the occasional waxworm. My cham loves mealworms and eats them all the time. Is this normal, and is it ok to feed your chameleon mealworms often? Also, when is the correct time to start putting your chamelon on the "feed every other day" diet?
