Hey gang: Been away for a while-family emergencies. Got a Qs on ahpids. Its that time of the year. Do you feed Aphids found on Milkweeds and English Primrose? Will the Alkaloids or whatever acids be present on the Aphids as they would be on the Milkweed bugs? I used to feed out Aphids on Milkweeds as a kid(not knowing much about anything)to my Asian Firebellie clutches. Didn't see too many probs. but should I transfer the Aphids to Fava Bean Plants and let them reproduce, have a span of time to rid the alkaloids and would that take a generation though to get a clean bunch? Thanks for your exertise and advise.
