Dose anyone know where I migght get some Buttermilk Racers?
They're quite common in Walker County, TX. I've captured quite a few.
'The Woodlands' north of Houston this past October, beautiful snake but GOOD LUCK trying to catch one those guys are faaaaaasssst..... this was a nice 1 too about 4 feet & very heavily marked with the powder blue-gray blotching on black at 1st glance I thought it was a Tiger ratsnake (Spilotes pallatus) that had escaped..... nice surprize when all I was use to finding there were Garters...... it's much easier to buy one than catch it..... every now & then Glades Herps has WC Buttermilks on their list..... you might check there.
Best of luck
Dean
