Female Veiled won't lay her eggs

suepur Jun 13, 2003 11:07 AM

I know this has been covered before, and I've read all the old forums and the suggested links, but is it better to leave her in her cage with the container of dirt or move her to a garbage can with dirt. She has been on the bottom of the cage for three days just wandering around. Thanks for your help.

If you haven't seen it already, there are some good articles on veileds and breeding on www.chameleonnews.com. Might give you some ideas. She may be getting close, but not quite ready. Give her a lot of privacy...the more you peek the more likely she will not lay. If she starts to dig and is interrupted she may not continue.
