small worms

MikeST Apr 06, 2004 09:34 AM

Got some new small worms in with my mid and smaller snappers. These are new , and I don't think they are turtle worms. I think they are waste-type worms. Might have come in with the bait fish or something that I feed.
When I used to get stuff like this with fish, I'd add some non-iodized salt to the tanks.
Any ideas.

They are small , about 1/8-1/4" long
about the thickness of string
Kind of light brown or flesh colored.
Never had this before

I don't think so.
Seem too short , but not really sure. There are also a bunch of old little "tube" type leftovers on the wood pieces in the tank.
Like hollow straws attached to the wood that they must have come out of.
I'll try the salt tonight
