Banana Blizzard

down Apr 06, 2004 12:27 PM

I'm wanting to breed for these.
Does anyone know of anyplace that has Pattenrless het. blizzard, or vice versa? I can't seem to find anyone that plays around with this variation anywhere.
Worst case scenario, I
ll just get some Patt. and Blizz. and go about it that way, but I'd much rather start a little further down the road.

Thanks,

J

why would you waste your time breeding patternless' and blizzard together? it is just going to make a very white leo. Bannana blizzards are normal blizzards with more intense coloration.

I'd thought about wasting my time doing that because several sources I've found indicate that Patternless X Blizzard Banana Blizzard, whuch is what I want.

So, all of these descriptions I've read are wrong on how to go about producing a Banana Blizz., huh?

Anyone want to go into detail as to how you procure this morph, then?

I've always heard the same thing. In fact I'm breeding blizzard females to a very dark patternless male. This makes Banana blizzards.

Many Blizzards aren't pure white, many have yellow hues along their sides. Breeders took those with the most yellow and bred them together to get yellower and yellower blizards, christening them bannana blizzards. As i said before there is no point in wasting your time breeding blizzards and patternless together as they will just make either an all white blizzard or a normal looking blizzard. Patternless IS NOT a color mutation it is a pattern mutation, therefore it just knocks out the pattern. Blizzard is a color and pattern mutation where all color and pattern is missing.
