what is this?

found a 2" long mealworm lookin thing in my bucket of mealworms today, it's about 3 times as round as my other worms...

was i accidentally given a zophobas worm with my last order?
i've never seen one

Could it be just a superworm? They are quite long sometimes.

I dont' know for sure but it sounds like it. I am not familiar with the proper name so i'm assuming that zophobas worm would also be called a superworm? I have a bunch of those right now and in comparison to my mealworms they are huge. They are also really dark coloured.

Yes superworms tend to be darker near the head too, not like mealies who are the same color for all their body.
