Another Pacman feeding question

CokeofMAn Jun 13, 2003 11:54 AM

Now i'm planning to buy a pacman so i'm trying to find out as much as I can.
When I feed my Pacman crickets am I going to pick a cricket up with a feeding tonge and hold it next to his/her mouth or should I let the cricket go free in the tank and let he/she "hunt it down" and eat it?

Same thing when I feed worms, what should I do then?
Thanks in advance

Hi. Personally I hand feed mine,it takes sometimes a little while to get use to it but then it is easy.I like it because I know how much he eats and the crickets don't stay in there and bug him.Just my 2 cents...........

Handfeeding is more helpful. You know if the frog is eating and how much it is eating. You also do not have to leave insects in there, and insects left in cages with frogs can mean you get a frog that has been half eaten by crickets or gnawed on my mealworms. Andy

i feed mine super worms / earth worms i put them in one at a time and wait for him to eat it before i put any more in if you put the sw or ew by there mouth they usually eat it as soon as it moves least mine do . and they will eat just about anything.just dont feed them to many pinky mice .i only feed mine a mouse every 3 or 4 weeks.mine can eat a full grown mouse easy
