I think we all need a little more specific information on what you're so peeved about than that.

He is referring to a show that aired on animal planet about a month or two ago and reaired tonight entitled the big squeeze. It was a bunch of crap honastly. It sensationalized the aspect of owning large constrictors and focused solely on the concept of how dangerous they are and focused on several people that had been bit and or attacked. It was honastly very misleading and full of misguiding information. They did have good info on the different techniques used to remove a large snake once it did bite you but that was about it. Todd Becker
Actually it aired last night. I watched it, and couldn't believe some of the crap they dished out. I personally have used the vodka trick, and hot water trick on large boids....
I got bit when I was 15, by a 18 foot Burm. His owner kept a spray bottle full of vodka nearby, and I sprayed some on his nose, and he let go pretty quick. After a while he learned that the spray bottle was a bad thing

Coastal Carpet Python 0.1 (Lillith)
Albino Burm 0.1 (Kimba)
Columbian RedTail 0.1 (Squishy)
Kenyan Sand Boa 1.0 (Shai'hulud)
Common Snapping Turtle 0.1 (Sherman) (RIP Abrahms)
RES 1.0 (speedy)
Hey ... I guess we can't blame Animal Planet -- they gotta keep those boids looking scary so folks like Jeff Corwin can maintain their image as an extreme wild crazy guy who'll do anything in the name of science. How would it look if the "terrifying" animal Corwin was wrastlin' was portrayed on another show as a docile, sluggish, and predictable creature that makes a fine and trustworthy pet?
It'd be like Mike Tyson baking mini cheesecake tarts on Martha Stewart Living.

ummm because you smelled of rabbits and the snake thought you were food? you should always wash your hands after handling rabbits, rats, mice etc before handling your snake.
i believe he was just making a sarcastic joke (which i personally found entertaining).

oh i guess not. haha at me. im glad you got some joy out of it though.
The one guy said he had Chinchilla hair and scent "all over" his body... hummmm.
But he had no idea why the snake turned on him...
Actually, he said thats exactly why it bit him, and he knew it. And he was also right, when you do dumb things, a big burm can kill you, if your not fast enough to respond correctly. I agree that this show was bad for keepers like us because it sensationalized the danger, but it does exist if your stupid and/or not knowlegable.
