I have a 33g patterenless who has never been in contact with a male. Today i checked her tank and she layed eggs how could this be?

I have a 33g patterenless who has never been in contact with a male. Today i checked her tank and she layed eggs how could this be?
Sometimes they do that. They'll be infertile, of course. My aunt used to have an iguana, who, ever year, would lay a dozen or so infertile eggs for the last 5 years we had her.

Did you raise her up from a baby?, or did you buy her at her current size?.
If you bought her at her current size from someone or a petstore, then they may have had her in with a male.
