Purple and Orange Harlequin???

AnthonyCaponetto Apr 07, 2004 12:30 AM

This little one came from Brad Teague when we met at the St. Louis show back in January. It's just now hitting that size/age where they start to change and the change hasn't been that drastic. In fact, other than having a bit of purple to where it used to be grey, it's really not all that different than it looked a month ago. It'll be interesting to see how it develops.

BTW, this animal looks nothing like the so-called blues. In fact, this photo is dead-on for color. Hope you like.

Hi Jake,

A harlequin is essentially a flame (or fire...same thing) morph with heavy mottling on the legs and sides.

A tiger called a tiger because it's got a tiger like pattern.

His eye looks like grape soda! And that's a nice spot of purple at his right shoulder. I hope his color will develop even more. That would be a nice one to bring out.
