I've read that dandelion greens are great for turtles. So does this mean I should start picking my weeds? What about the yellow flowers? Are these any good for turtles? Thanks.

I pick mine out of the backyard, since I don't use pesticides or anything. I never tried the flowers, but I know my beardie likes them and they are edible.

My turtle likes dandelion greens. I'm currently buying them at a supermarket, but once they start growing outside, I'll be picking them for him (unsprayed). Not sure about the blossoms, but the leaves have a very good calcium/phosphorus ratio.

Thanks! I guess I'll actually be doing yard work this year.
