feeding the 9' foot anaconda

thanks to everyone who replied....i will try this weekend to see if the chicken thing works...i will keep you all posted and i will also take some pictures to also post to let you all see her..the guy that i bought her from said that his two year old daugther use to play with her and she was about four years old...i got a weight on her here at work at 16 lbs is that good for her age and size... until i finish building the enclosure for her i have her in a cage that i build for my asian monitor it is about 6 1/2 foot long and about two feet wide and i would say about 2 1/2 maybe 3' foot high...what is a ideal temp. for them? right now i have one side of the cage at 90 some time it may go up to 95 degrees and the other side is at 80 and goes up to 85 degrees and inbetween is about 74,75 she moves between the two sides and i just have a water bowl in the middle...i have two bath room and one i dont used so every other i put her in the bath tube....should i put something in the cage that she can get into....thanks L.A.

If your anaconda is a female and is accurately measured at 9 feet, a typical body weight for her would be between 25 and 30 pounds. This is based on what I have experienced for the dimensions of green anacondas of average mass for their length and sex.
