Robert has been keeping Drymarchon for ages. Probably as long, if not longer, then most any forum regular. I suppose Southern California has its own Drymarchon clique, as he has an extensive collection of D. c couperi, but is not well known outside of LONG existing circles.
He is selling off all of his specimens, which lack the red-chin coloration he finds most desirable. Another reason he is selling them has to do with financing a company he has been starting up.
I can vouch for his animals, as I have obtained them from him in the past.

Sorry, Dr. G. It is a possibility. He has at least 20 of them, that I am aware of, not including the specimens he is parting with.
He used to maintain a much larger collection, with all available members of the Dry complex, but has cut back to D. c couperi only.

Sign my wife and I up! By the way, I hope this program doesn't have too many steps, I have four broken toes right now!

DeanAlessandrini Apr 08, 2004 01:02 PM

How many couperi are you up to CG?

Let's see I have 2.3 very large adults,
1.1 2002 cb,
1.4 2003 cb

...so that makes a mere dozen.

and only 1.2 erebennus.
that's it. Down to 15.
oh, I forgot, a single 2003 yt
oh, and 3 2003 unis...so that's 19.
but one is an extra make that I'm trading back to dannio, so
that'll only be 18.

With lots of eggs on the way.

But I scaled down and sold off all my yts
So I'm doing better.

dryguy Apr 08, 2004 03:59 PM

2.1 TX
0.2 BT
2.2 YT
1.1 rubidus
(I think)

And have you heard back from him yet?

D Goudie Apr 09, 2004 04:29 PM

It's a holiday weekend, but I live in Canada so I doubt he'd even respond. I was interested in either of the lone male's... their saying in here that he's thinning out to focus on red chinned Easterns..... truth be known I like the solid black ones best....... then again either way you cut it there are NO Ugly Indigos.....
