Concerned Boa Owner

livenlearn8112 Apr 07, 2004 04:51 PM

I am a newcomer into the reptile enthusiasts world and i would appreciate if someone would inform me on why my boas' tongue seems so slow and weak compared to when i had first purchased them. Are they sick? What do i do about it? Please reply with helpful information. Thank you.

What kid of temps would be my first question, low temps can cause them to slow down, also any other info about how you are keeping it.

Alittle more information on your boa's captive care would be needed before anyone could really tell you anything useful. It could be cooler temps as Craig suggested or it could be something as simple as your boa just becoming more familar with his new surroundings.
