I guess I'm feeling a bit lonely these past few days, so I'll post a lengthy message, and hopefully some folks will talk to me for awhile... wow, how pitiful I've become?? LOL. You guys are truely my good friends though, so I don't mind laying some of my junk out on ya, lol.
Well, I took 3 of my leopard geckos today that just weren't fitting into my programs for whatever reason up to a place that I knew they'd be cared for very well and given great new homes. It's not far away so I'll be able to check in on them until they go to their new owners. I've given them a great headstart on a healthy life and I know they'll make someone very happy. It was still hard to watch them go though. How do you current breeders do it?? Watching the babies you've raised leave your house. On a positive note, I got a new SH male from David at Tundra Geckos today. He is amazing... I've named him MonStar. I liked the name monster, because he is the heftiest gecko I own, but I am also a cartoon buff, and if any of you are old enough to remember there was a villan in the old Silverhawks cartoon named MonStar. Anyway, he's great.. and should produce some amazing babies.
Quizno my boa is doing very well. He has responded to his antibiotics, moves around quite a bit and is eating well. So hurray for me and the vet, lol.
I also go a new Hypo cornsnake today. I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with a name. I was thinking of using Fait, but then something about the corny name of Cobb for a cornsnake is lingering with me. If someone could help end this mental debate I'd appreciate it =)
