Am I feeding my lizards to much?

kyle1414 Apr 07, 2004 06:29 PM

we feed 3 curly tails 24 large crickets twice a week. At first they started to always eat them but now they are killing them but not eating them and the crickets are crawling on them. Shuld I feed them less?

If they are not eating them, yes, I would cut down.
Otherwise the crickets will torment and nip them at night when they sleep!

Put in a few a day or every other and see if they eat them.

what probably happended is that you got the curlytials home and they had not eaten in quite some time(since all curly tails in the pet trad are wild caught)from being shipped around and now that they have gotten back to their normal weight they are eating less frequently.i could be wrong but ive heard of this happening
