Can anyone tell me what the issue with moss is? Is there some types you just shouldn't use? I see everywhere that you should use Sphagnum moss, Java moss, or pillow moss but i cant find any of that where i live.

I found some neat fluffy moss that needs lots of water called Golden Spike Moss and just want to know if there are any problems with this?
