Stool Odor

Kiknskreem Apr 07, 2004 07:49 PM

Yesterday my ball python went to the bathroom and it was the most horrific thing I have ever smelled. There was also a brownish liquid (with the consistency of water) along with the normal stool and solid urate. I had to literally stay upwind of his tank as I emptied it into the garbage. His temperatures and eating habits have not changed... should this be something to worry about?

I would say...that no...you have a good sence of smell and the ball has a good defecation........

........you eat a bowl of dead mice guts and all and see what it smells like........

(try a few days of deer meat and ducks.......add some turkey...mmmmmmmmmmmmm)............beats the balls.......

....wow....look where this forum has gone..............

Thanks for the reply. Reason I made a post was that I've had this guy for several months, and none of his previous defecations smelled anything like this.

Poo smells; that's a fact. I would be more concerned with the good-smelling poo snake than the one who's poo smells.
