Substrate??

What is the best substrate for ball pythons? I'm currently using newspaper but am curious if there is a better substrate. Anyone?

Lots of substrates work (newspaper, paper towel, bark mulch, cypress mulch, bark chips, etc etc), and lots of substrates don't work (sand, gravel, etc etc).

Many people use many substrates. Pick one.

Keep things readable and family‑friendly; staff may edit signatures or posts that affect thread readability.
