female with dent in eye

reptilewild Apr 07, 2004 11:31 PM

I recently got a female bp in a trade.Today I was looking closely and notice a small dent in one of her eyes.Looks like its been pushed in or something.I was woundering if anyone else has this problem and do you think it would pop back out to normal in her next shed or something.Do you think I should take her to the vet???any help would be thankful.

The snake is dehydrated. Increase the humidity. That should solve the problem.

It happens quite frequently. A soak may also rectify the problem sooner.
