15 days after she laid her first clutch for me, Flame laid her second this morning.

Its funny.....yesterday i was thinking she might lay soon as she was wandering around her tank non stop. So before work i picked up a bag of Perlite and some small plastic containers so i could incubate the eggs individually.

This morning after putting the dog out and getting my coffee i went into the gecko room and theres Flame trying to hide her eggs. This time was a bit more stressful though. The first egg was again laid on the ceramic tile and easily came off. The second however was laid on the *sticky* tile on the other side of the tank and STUCK. I had to cut off the tile from the tank, very gently-it seemed to take forever.

I had also left the perlite and cups out in my car last night, too lazy after work to bother to bring it in LOL. Theres nothing like running outside in ones pj's at 7am LOL

So wish me luck I'll try to get a pic of the eggs today

As you can see, two nice white plump eggs. The one on the left with the multiple marks is the one that was *stuck* to the tiles this morning. It popped off the tile ONLY AFTER i cut the tile away from the bottom of the tank LOL. I'm still confused as to why Flame isn't using her lay box but Oh well.

The first set of eggs are still in the incubator in the top right hand corner. They have collapsed and theres alot of mold so i'll remove them after i post.

I've left the containers without a top on them......does anyone think i should put them on??? I'm just waiting for the temps to stabilize as they went down when i put the eggs in and the perlite hasnt' warmed up yet. I did use warm water, soaked the perlite and squeezed out the excess then put them in the container but after taking so long to get the one egg out the perlite cooled off.

Well my fingers are crossed hopefully babies this time

Had 4 new eggs last night when I got in from school. They look good will candle them next week. That will make 10 cooking altogether if these are fertile. 2 x Tremper Albino, 2 x SHTCT

Thats awesome Congrats!!!!!!!! Next year i hope to have the same....all of my girls will be over a year old. I'm just hoping to find a nice male to pair up with Dot (ct hypo) and patternless male for Lily. Nala is supposed to be hooked up with bronx but she has yet to get as large as the others (and she is very very dark.....i'll have to post a pic of her and lily, they almost look the same).
Then again i might just stick with the two males i have and see what happens...theres to many ways to go about breeding. I'm not in this for money...just to see new life created. So unless i win the lottery soon having a ton of babies around is going to be difficult unless i turn my 8' unit into a rack hehehe.

Red, reading back on the pasts posts and stuff, are geckos seem to be on the sme schedual. I got another clutch of eggs last night, and our past eggs have been lining up too. I just thought that to be funny coincidence. Good luck.

Thankyou, i'm excited The first set have both collapsed and molded over so i removed them from the incubator. I didn't want to do it, always having hope but i don't want to risk the mold spreading to the new containers, if thats even possible. My fingers are crossed for these new eggs to hatch. The temps have stablized at 80.5 and 81.5 and now the waiting begins

sounds good, if you havn't thrown the eggs out yet you should cut one open and see if it was actually fertile if not i belive it would just be watery and goopy, if it was fertile i belive it should be more rounded and solid and a grayish color with some red in it...

HEHE Hotmail is a bit on the slow side letting me know i've had a reply to my post LOL. The Tops are on now. As for cutting the other eggs open.....i guess i should, almost feel horrible doing it. I know the eggs aren't going to hatch....i'm sure of it from how they look and smell....and it'll make me feel better to know if they were or weren't fertile. I'll let you know

I cut an egg open yesterday, and in it was a baby leo. She was dead and not fully formed, but very pretty. Its kinda hard, but you feel better knowing whats inside.

Ya i know. I'm actually scared to breed my own geckos knowing that to actually hatch out a healthy baby is very much a miracle with all that can go wrong.
But i'll do it (both see whats in the eggs and breed my own group).

I'm having a bit of a difficult time with this new computer. First i hate the keyboard (i use a *natural* one and this one is normal) so i'm making tons of typing mistakes...i'm also trying to load the stargate web site and its not letting me in.......grrrrrrrr I had the same problem with KS at first, i couldnt' load it and now i dont remember what i did that allowed me access.....Something in the settings i'm sure.....lol but at the moment i haven't had enough coffee to figure it out

the 2 on top are the definatly fertile ones and the bottom 3 are the ones i am unsure of

hehe i can email you just wondering if an aol account works with msn messenger i dont' have aol. Those eggs look amazing!!! why are the top ones darker than the bottom two? mine are all white, does that change if they are fertile?

I'm on my third cup of coffee...i think i'm waking up enough now to dive into the loading of sites problem hehehe. I have to get into the other computer first.....get the URL's and try manually lol. First though, i have some cleanup to do, put the garbage out, get dressed and make lunch. I'll be back online in a bit

P.S. I finally got into the stargate site WOOHOO. I had to type in the URL, couldn't get to it via a search. I'm still not sure why that is, but it works so all's good I still don't recall how i got into KS, think i had to type it in too. If thats what i have to do in order to get into sites, it rather sucks....most of the time i don't remember the URL's LOL
