Egg comparison(sp?)...

first two are the fertile ones, bottom 3 are the ones i am unsure of

maybe,im thinking i may die..but im gonna give it a chance since its beein incubating at 87*f for almost 40 days now..so...we'll see what happens

I just saw your post to me way down there... Very rarely I've had eggs that never firmed up; since you candled it and saw the red circle, it's obviously fertile. In fact, now that I think back on it my only fertile yet mushy eggs were some I put in the incubator immediately after the female laid them; they hatched btw.

Even though your egg is sweating it still looks fertile. Is there any possiblity that condensation from the lid is dripping on it? Water sitting on the egg is generally not good as it seems to increase the chances of molding. When I have wet egg, I take a piece of tissue and gently drag it accross the egg surface to wick up the moisture but, I have no idea if this actually helps or just makes me feel better. I try to handle my eggs as little as possible. I'm not sure if it was my imagination, but I thought that the loss rate was higher in eggs I candled / handled repeatedly.

well if it was water condesation from the lid wouldnt all the eggs look like they're sweating?, i put the flashlight under the container and it shines through the perlite...i could definatly see a baby inside the egg i hope it doesnt die..
