Ive heard that they took it off the market. I sure hope not. If I were you I would contact the manufacturer. They still have it listed on their web site. Its made by Airosol Company Inc. in Neodesha Kansas. Ph # 1-800-633-9576 or solutions@airosol.com They sell it buy the case. Thats 12 cans and that will kill a lot of mites. Good luck

what is the active ingredient in black knight? if it's permthrin (that's the active ingredient in provent-a- mite)you can purchase lice bedding spray at wal mart (next to the band-aids) for $3-4 per can.in provent-a- mite it's 0.50% and in the lice bedding spray it's 0.25% active ingredient.

It worked like a charm. Only one or two treatments (helps when you only have one snake though as all of them need to be treated). If you do a search for nix and snake mites you should be able to find how exactly to make and use the solution. Just be sure not to soak the snake in Nix, but spray the enclosure, accessories, around the enclosures, etc.

Reptile Relief. Although it doesn't do any good unless you have mites - meaning you can't use it as a preventative. But it's supposed to be safe:
