May i ask how you got the perfect outline of the gecko out of the pic and made it 3d without the background..i have seen this in many places but never found out how they do it could you please email me and let me kno...thanks a lot...

as for how I made the gecko a cut out. I just used photoshop and used to magnetic cutout tool to take the backround out and then I used a simple glow on it.
