I came across an offer for 0 het albino the person said its from a BIG breeder and he has paper work, its about 3yrs old is $270 good price for this? what would something like this go for at a show? Im going to NY show on the 18th if they go for cheaper at shows I can wait until the show, If this is something you all think I should jump on the let me know. Are they any steps I should take for garantee? I as this because im thinking just because a person has paperwork does not mean they cant show paper work for a different snake and sell you a norm. How do some of you go about handling deals like this? Do you have the person sign something so later if it does not prove you can take them to court or something? I also see ads for 0 het females for $350-$400 what would you think about this being that females are like $700 ?

hey bro,
I have bought a yearling het from N.E.R.D. at the white plains show about a year & a half ago,, maybe even a lil longer.. he was 300 or 350....unfortunately he died (not saying a single bad word about N.E.R.D. I screwed up & payed the price). After I went to the next upcoming show & bought a yearling het albino from rob of long island exotics.....it was 275 & he was kind enough to go down to 250 for me. Now as far as genetics I am not sure if I will recieve eggs this year so I'm not sure if I will have my proof. The snake is perfectly healthy & a breeding monster so I'm hoping for the best. In my opinion the best bet is to always go for the most reputable big breeder , but if you like me sometimes just don't want to shell out the extra cash then it's a roll of the dice...like my guy..yes he was 100 cheaper but if he's not what he's suppose to be then in the long run he cost me more money. either way I feel like I should have just cut to the chase & bought a male albino. they are getting cheaper. As far as proof of a het it's all in the breeding..which is why there's sooo many horror stories of people getting ripped off. That's why it is said"if it sounds to good to be true.. it is" there's plenty of stuff there & every table will almost def have a ball or two but not too many have hets, it makes sense it's hard to compete with big boys if you're unknown. I have even asked people if they have hets & I have heard from more than one vendor say "Your best bet is to go to nerd, so you don't get ripped off....they are trust worthy" so do what you must just try to keep from jumping into something that seems like a really good deal.
