Quick question

pepe15 Apr 08, 2004 01:25 PM

Do females have femoral pores, I think sure but just want to make sure (don't have my reference books with me). And if they do, are they suppose to be visible like the males?
thanks!

Yes they have them but they are usually smaller.

Thanks, I was just wondering b/c Koda's sex is unknown but I can see the femoral pores on him already. I am waiting for the next shed to get a clear view of the tail due to the coloring from calcisand the pet store had him on to see if it is a he or a she (hopefully) as right now I am not sure!

How old is he/she? Have you bent the tail up and looked for the bumps?

about 3-4 mo, and yes I have looked under the tail, but it's just not clear to me one way or the other. That's why I am waiting for the shed to see if getting that artifical coloring off him/her will make it easier to tell. It doesn't matter either way to me, I am just curious.
