Laying eggs in bathroom corner?

MattP Apr 08, 2004 02:32 PM

Does anyone have any idea why my geckos lay eggs in their bathroom corner? They have a proper egg laying container with moist vermiculite. I have a few girls who are laying eggs for the first time, could it be that they know that their eggs are infertile? Also, everytime I find one of these eggs it is only just one.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Matt

Based on what my girls did with their first clutch, I can tell you that they didn't use the moist hide, and 2 of them laid eggs about a day or 2 apart. Since it is their first time, I wouldn't be concerned. 2nd time through they'll catch the drift.
