megalina Apr 08, 2004 03:58 PM

Timmy is a very active little guy now!! He has started to grow and got over whatever infection he had. He has recently started sitting up towards the surface of the water and blowing bubbles then biting them or eating them. He very noisy!! I think it's adorable, but just wondering if its normal!!

One of my turtles used to do that too. It was adorable! I was told by people on the forum not to worry about it too much. Turtles do show some playful behavior!

While I wouldn't panic over this I would most definitely be cautious and if the behavior persists perhaps a vet trip would be in order to make sure he is fine. I say this because it was mentioned that he had previously had a respiratory infection.
