My BTM is around 24inches and growing! His diet varies. He can eat daily or go up to two days with out getting food. I usaully feed him a few mice or a small rat daily or every other day. I also give him chicken peices like Heart which is full of calcium. Other than that he sometimes gets eggs. But some people will feed their monitors one small meal every other day, and that too is fine. I knew someone who had a blackthroat around 20inches long. All he fed it was 1mouse every other day and then when it got bigger he followed on to 1 small rat, etc. His blackthroat reached almost 3.5ft by a year old, so he was doing something right!
