Well...I had an eventful night last night...I was in foalwatch (basically sitting in a barn with pregnant horses waiting for them to "pop"...lol), and we knew we had 2 or 3 mares ready to go...the one most obviously ready to go soon was in the stall next to the office, so we could see her through the window without leaving. We were watching her...and finally at about 3:00 am she laid down and started rolling back and forth...definitely about there....lol We went out into the barn aisle to watch for her water to break...and my friend decided we should probably check on the other mares that were close...sure enough she went into one of the stalls and...well...her water broke!...so we all went down there and one of us called the grad house to have someone come down and help...and sure enough when I walked back to the other stall her water broke!!! There ended up being six of us going back and forth between the two stalls helping out and seeing what was going on...lol I photographed...among other things...lol So anyway...here's the pics of the 2 little colts we had the pleasure of witnessing being born!
And of course...both bays...who woulda thunk it...lol
colt #1 (technically born about 5 min sooner...lol):

colt #2 (just look at the length of his legs!!!...its CRAZY!!...they were longer than any of ours!):
