Georgia, Okeefanokee Swamp, anyone know what type of snake?

Buddy25 Apr 08, 2004 08:22 PM

Hello all,
A couple of weeks ago, for Canadian March Break I went upto Southern Georgia. And while there, my family went to Okeefanokee swamp, and saw these two species of snakes.

Personally I didn't think they were venemous,lol...but then I saw a picture of one posted in the venemous photogallery, lol! Ack, I partly lifted its body up with a stick to see if it had a red belly O_O

So, here's a picture... Its not mine, and I hope jungle doesn't mind me posting it http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/index.pl?photo=135368

So if someone could tell me what species of snake this is I'd be grateful, and am waiting in anticipation

Thanks,
Steven
