1200 gr. at the earliest, 1500 is the usual target weight and 1800-2000 gr. is the best weight.
Problem is the old mighty coin is more important to MOST then having a good size female, especialy the het & homo females...HELL, If they could, they'd breed those het-striped females at 700 gr. hoping to pump out 1 striped out of 3-4 eggs.
JY, care to danse on this one...
If no rush, why not wait and get her up to at least 1500.
Good luck
Personally, 1500grams is the minimum for me. However, this is only a guideline. You also need to consider the size (length) of the snake. I have a female that is 2000 grams but light for her size. They need that "fat" to produce viable eggs and carry them to term. Remember, laying eggs can consume a third or more of a snakes weight. So a 1500 gram female could easily drop below 1000 grams after laying her eggs.

I use two things at least 1200 grams and two years old.
I think in real life they should be three years old. At least she gets accustom to a male the second year.

I would agree that the females first breeding should be at OVER 1500 grams, and subsequent breeding she should look large enough to breed, ie: enough fat reserves, few skipped meals etc. I have a het caramel pair, female at 1350 grams and I am WAITING another year, just not worth it to me to get 3 eggs and then may not get ANYTHING the next year, when she should be breeding.
Now my het axanthics were border line, 1590 grams, and decided to put them togather only because she was fat. Saw some mating, which is in the pic, but no eggs yet.
