Babies Fighting?

MattP Apr 08, 2004 10:38 PM

I have always been able to house clutch mates together for at least the first few weeks, with no problems. But today one hatched and then his brother hatched a few hours later. After the second one hatched I put him in the same container as his brother and instantly he started hissing and shaking his tail. I incubated them at 89/90 degrees.

My question is; is this weird? Is my little male overly aggressive?

Thank you for your time,

Matt

It does sound like your little one is overly aggressive. I too have housed clutch mates together in the past without problems. I’d recommend separating them if you have any suspicion that either could be hurt.
