Pine, from what I've heard, is currently under suspicion of putting off fumes that are dangerous to reptiles, just like cedar.
So no, even though results aren't conclusive yet, I wouldn't risk using it when there are so many other suitable options for substrates.

i'm using pine bark for my boa constrictor.. so far so good.. but i'm also a bit paranoid bout it.. so i'm going to change it to coconut husk chips
