how do i get my dragon off of my shoulder without it flipping out? when i try to get it from underneath, it scurries onto my back, rendering me powerless.

I usually just walked into his cage with mine on my shoulder and manuevered around so he could step onto his branch. Of course, if you don't have a large cage yet, this isn't really an option. I always had my husband around to take them off my back
