hello i am new to crocs and have our first hatchling for about a week now. he doesnt seem to be eating. any suggestions would be gratefull. thanks

I would not be to concerned if it has only been a week. If it helps though, make sure all your heat settings are right. I keep my alligators enclosure between 82 & 84 degrees F. and the water around 74 F. and she is a pig. I had 1 alligator that wouldn't eat if you watched, and yet another that would only eat when you turned the day bulb off. You could also go to crocodilian.com. I hope this helps!

I agree with Tasha...check your cage and water temps. As a rule, caimen like it warm! Crocs also. Alligators seem to be more tolerant of cooler temps. Your caiman may also be shy, so put some food in, and hide around a corner to watch his reaction.
